The machine gives you a hundred options
Your job is to pick one
The rest is noise

A letter, a spreadsheet, a piece of research. That used to take hours and a few people. Now it takes seconds.Everybody has that speed, so speed stopped being an advantage.

What is left is the part the machine does not do: knowing what has to be done, in what order, and why.

That is what I write about here, in the open, with the numbers and the mistakes.

Speed

Fast is something everyone can do now

Picture a company whose office is one room. One person in it, the owner, and machines along the wall. They write the letters, build the spreadsheets, run the research. In seconds.

My years inside corporates show one thing: a company is not moved forward by the number of people or the number of machines. It is moved by the person who knows what has to be done and why it has to be done that way.

Execution got cheap.Understanding did not.

Selection

The real work of an owner is saying no

Ask a machine for one answer and you get a hundred.A hundred emails, a hundred headlines, a hundred ways to solve it.

Someone used to pick one out of the hundred and throw the rest away: an editor, a boss, a director. In a company of one person the owner does it.No, that email does not fit.No, that idea does not solve the problem. No, we are not going there.

Every new subscription, every three hour video and every fresh prompt spend the one thing you are short of.Your attention.Until there is a rule for choosing, the noise keeps growing. That rule is what professionalism actually is.

Meaning

The machine answers What?, you answer Why?

Write it, count it, translate it, break it down. All of that is the what, and the machine is strong there.

Why are we sending this email? So the client feels heard. Why build this process? So the work an algorithm can do is done by an algorithm, and the person does the work that brings money in.

Meaning is the one thing an owner never hands to a machine. It is what makes a company a company instead of a warehouse of automated steps.

Ownership

Your company memory belongs in your own house

A company owns things: clients, projects, agreements, the experience you paid for.If all of it sits in somebody else's building, you do not own the capital, you rent a desk.

An ordinary chat starts every conversation on a blank page.Every day you explain again who you are and what happened yesterday. It is like walking in each morning and finding that your assistant forgot everything overnight.

That is what Intakto is for.An assistant with memory that lives on your own server, remembers your clients, projects and agreements, and works in the browser and in your messenger. After a month it remembers what you forgot yourself.

One hand on the wheel

The one room company

One person now does what used to need a team. Not because they are smarter.Because the most expensive link in any company disappeared, getting people to agree with each other.

Meetings, threads, waiting for a reply, telling four colleagues the same thing. All of it ate time and money and did none of the work itself.

Agents execute. They do not argue, they do not call in sick, they do not resign. The owner drives, and this is not a theory, I am building that company myself.

The project

HumanOps

HumanOps is where products and practices come from for people who build a business with AI.

The first product is Hermes by Intakto. An assistant with permanent memory: it lives on your server, works in the browser and in your messenger, and is paid for in roubles. No VPN, no programming, no complicated setup.

I publish what works, what does not, where I got it wrong and what the numbers were.It is more honest, and it shows what is really going on.

Write to me

I write and I answer myself. No forms, no funnels. If you have a question or an idea, just send it.

Alexey Marushevsky The human decides. The machine executes.
